Every tool processes its inputs locally in your browser — paste, transform, copy, gone. We don't have a server endpoint that touches your payloads. The full policy is below, but it's mostly “no, we don't.”
Privacy claims are cheap. Verification takes 5 seconds:

JSON, JWTs, source code, images, regex patterns — all processed by JavaScript running in your tab. No server endpoint receives the data. We do not log, queue, or cache it.
There are no accounts. No email, name, or phone. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to leak.
No ad cookies, no third-party cookies. localStorage only — used to remember your theme and recently opened tools, and it stays on your device.
We may use a no-cookie, no-PII analytics service such as Plausible or Fathom. It records aggregate page-view counts only — no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
Our host (Vercel) logs basic request data — IP, user-agent, path — for abuse prevention and capacity planning. Not sold, not combined with any other dataset.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard server access data including IP address, user-agent string, referrer, and the path that was requested. This data is retained for a short period and used solely for security, abuse prevention, and capacity planning. It is never sold, profiled, or shared with third parties beyond what the host requires to deliver pages.
Privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Plausible or Fathom) may be used to count aggregate page views. These set no cookies and collect no personally identifiable information.
trydevtools uses browser localStorageon your device to remember UI preferences (e.g. theme, recent tools). No tracking cookies are set. No third-party advertising cookies are used. You can clear localStorage at any time from your browser's settings.
Every tool on trydevtools runs entirely client-side in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste JSON, code, text, or any other input into a tool, that data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted over the network to our servers or any third party.
You can verify this in real time: open your browser's DevTools, switch to the Network panel, then use any tool — you will see no outbound API requests.

trydevtools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
